William A. Sneed, 86, of Louisville, formerly of Canal Fulton and Canton, Ohio, passed away quietly, early Monday morning, November 25, 2019. Born in Pikeville, Kentucky, August 27, 1933, a son to the late Aaron and Dolly Sneed, Bill was a retired laborer. He’d done mostly farm work and was remembered as an honest, hard worker. He lived simply and quietly, mostly keeping to himself. While his health allowed, he faithfully attended Massillon Baptist Temple.
Preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Betsy and his brother, Bud; Bill is survived by his sisters, Pauline, Irene and Blanche, his brothers, Jack and David; and an extended family of nieces and nephews.
A brief, informal funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 27, 2019, at Atkinson Feucht Hare Funeral Home in Massillon. Dr. Cecil Thayer, pastor of Massillon Baptist Temple will officiate and a private burial at Brookfield Cemetery will follow. The family will receive condolences Wednesday morning, from 10:30 – 11:00 in the funeral home.
