Wanda “Willow” Lahr, age 84, of Navarre, Ohio died Friday, April 10, 2026, surrounded by her children and grandchildren. She was born March 10, 1942, in Canton, to Russell and Coletta Kiko. Willow is survived by her children: Lew (Becky), Sandy (Everette), Sharon, Suzy (Chad), Steve (Pam), Mary (Nate), Dave (Alicia), Rachel (Danno), and Terry; eleven grandchildren: Courtney, Tommy, Jordan, Kevin, Madelyn, Daniel, Karissa, Jayne, Violet, Lindsay, and Zora; sisters, Margy and Bert; brothers Dan, Jim, Tom, Joe, Gene, Rusty, and John; and her dog, Braveheart and cat, Golden Boy. She is preceded in death by her husband Lewis F. Lahr Sr.; her parents, Russell and Coletta; and her brothers Billy, Richard, and Fred.
She lived her life with a deeply loving heart, giving of herself everything she touched, always with a quiet, steady strength that never asked for recognition. Her children and grandchildren were the center of her world—her greatest joy and proudest accomplishment—and she poured into them a constant, unwavering love that shaped who they are today. That same compassion guided her to nursing school and became a lifelong calling to care for others, leaving a lasting impact on everyone fortunate enough to be in her care.
She had a soft heart for animals and found calm and purpose working with her hands—in the garden, in the kitchen, and in the things she built. She also deeply cherished the peace she found at the beach.
She cherished the holidays, filling them with family, meaningful traditions, and a warmth that only she could create. Those moments will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
She leaves behind a legacy of unconditional love, quiet strength, and selfless devotion—one that will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
