Timothy D. Blake, 62, of Navarre, passed away unexpectedly, of natural causes, on Friday morning, April 7, 2023. Born in Canton, November 10, 1960, a son to the late Robert and Nellie (Dunn) Blake, Tim graduated from Timken Vocational High School with the Class of 1979. He had been employed with Buck Hill Fabricating, Inc., in Canton. Beginning as an apprentice right out of high school, he learned each aspect of the business during his forty-three years of service, and currently served as the operations manager for the firm. An active member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Canton, Tim was a devoted Christian; a gentle and loving husband, and a caring and supportive step-dad, grandpa and uncle. He placed his faith in Christ, his wife, and his family at the center of his life and worked daily to be a faithful steward of all God had given him. He and his wife, Chantelle, always looked forward to their Friday night "date nights." And in his leisure time he enjoyed looking after his home, getting out for an occasional round of golf with friends, and woodworking. One of his favorite hobbies was model railroading and he loved to tinker on his train layout as often as he could.
Predeceased by his parents; and a sister-in-law, Peggy Blake; Tim is survived by his wife of twenty-nine years, Chantelle M. (Bradley) Blake; and her children, Carmen (Paul) Brady, of Massillon and Christopher (Erika) Brown, of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania – whom he loved as his own. Also surviving are three grandchildren, Cole and Isabelle Brady and Lorenzo Brown; his brother, Robert “Bob” Blake, of Richville; nephew, Bobby (Gail) Blake, nieces, Karen (Mike) Detrow and Krystal (Jason) Dean; and great-nephews, Bryce Blake and Christian Dean, and great-niece, Kensington Blake. Tim will also be deeply missed by his fur buddy, Jonah.
A celebration of Tim's life will be conducted at the noon hour, Wednesday, April 12, 2023, at Fellowship Baptist Church in Canton. Pastor Tim Brown will officiate, and burial will follow at East Union Lawn Cemetery in Navarre. The family will receive condolences one hour prior to the service, from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. in the church. Arrangements have been entrusted to Atkinson Feucht Hare Funeral Home in Massillon. Your memories and condolences are always welcome and may be added to our on-line guestbook at www.atkinsonfeucht.com.
