Sharon K. Fetters, 78, of Navarre, passed away Wednesday afternoon, August 21, 2024. Born in Bolivar, January 19, 1946, a daughter to the late Kenneth and Esther (Ammon) Cline, she had been an area resident nearly all her life.
A devoted wife and a loving and supportive mom, grandma, and great-grandma, Sharon placed her husband and her family at the center of her life. She had worked as a cook at the Canton Regency for more than 25 years before deciding to retire. She always enjoyed cooking and never got tired of treating her family to wonderful dinners and goodies. Christmas was her favorite holiday and every year she went “all out” to make it a memorable event. Decorating, baking, planning another great meal – and doing it all by herself, was what brought her joy. In her leisure time she loved to shop and loved working outside in her flower gardens.
Predeceased by her parents, and a sister, Sandy; Sharon is survived by her husband, Ted Fetters, of the home; daughters, Suzanne (Randall) Winkhart, of Bolivar, and Patricia (Michael) Brediger, of Cartersville, Georgia, sons, Kenneth (Terry) Wilson, of Cape Canaveral, Florida, and Daniel Wilson, of Navarre; step-daughters, Rebecca (Clay) Mackey, of Navarre and Rachael (Paul) Snyder, of Brewster. Also surviving are ten grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; her sister, Judy, and brothers, Vernon “Butch” Cline and Kenny Cline.
Honoring Sharon’s wishes, cremation has taken place, and a private family service will be conducted at a later date. Atkinson Feucht Hare Funeral Home in Massillon has been entrusted with the immediate arrangements. Your memories and condolences are always welcome and may be added here to Sharon’s on-line guestbook.
