Robert L. Seimetz, 60, of Jackson Twp., died Monday, October 29, 2018, after a courageous two year battle with pancreatic cancer. Born August 12, 1958, to the late Howard and Nancy (Hansen) Seimetz, Robert is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Laurel (Custer) Seimetz; his daughter, Erin (Brian) Miller; his grandchildren, Lukas, Logan and Charlotte Miller; sisters, Holly (Cindy) Seimetz and Susan (Mark) Estep; sister-in-law, Cynthia (John) Roush and brother-in-law, Douglas (Sally) Custer, as well as several nieces and nephews and his Starcon family.
Rob’s family would like to thank Tri-County Hematology & Oncology and Community Hospice for their loving care and compassion. Laurel and Erin would also like to thank Robert’s friend, cohort and partner in crime, Willie Bryant, for all of his love and support during the last two years and especially the last seven days.
Family and friends will gather to celebrate Rob's life at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 3, 2018, at Atkinson Feucht Hare Funeral Home in Massillon. The family will receive condolences on Friday evening, November 2, 2018, from 4-7:00 p.m. and for one hour prior to the service on Saturday morning, from 10-11:00 in the funeral home. Pastor David Seaman will officiate and burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.
