Richard “Tony” Lenhart, age 68 of Jeromesville, Ohio and formerly of Cambridge passed away suddenly in Medina, Ohio February 15, 2020. Tony was a loving father, partner and brother. Per his wishes, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be announced by his family in the near future.

Tony Lenhart, 68, of Jeromesville, OH, formerly of Cambridge, OH, passed away suddenly, Saturday, February 15, 2020.
Tony was born April 5, 1951, in Zanesville, OH to the late Richard “Dick” and Betty (Short) Lenhart.
Tony leaves his daughter, Johanna “Joie” (Andrew) Peters, of Gahanna, his former spouse and Joie’s mother, Laura Lenhart, of Columbus.
He is survived by his loving partner, Kate Layne and their wonderful dog, Wendy; two sisters, Kelly Lenhart (Tom Taylor) of Norwich and Mandy Lenhart, of Cambridge; one aunt, Dixie Ball, of Cambridge and many loving cousins and their families.
He was a 1969 Cambridge High School and 1974 Bethany College graduate. Tony’s bond with treasured high school friends endured the years. As a proud Beta Theta Pi his 50 year kinship with his brothers was unyielding.
Tony was most known for his love of the Cambridge community and his involvement in civic activities. He managed Central Pharmacy and the Holiday Inn, both family businesses. He was an avid Ohio State Buckeye fan, golfer and truly loved spending time with his family and friends. All who knew him will remember his contagious smile, kindness and generosity.
