Richard L. Busby, 87, of Canton, passed away peacefully, early Sunday morning, October 29, 2023. Born in Jewett, Ohio, July 6, 1936, a son to the late Duane and Nellie (Kuhn) Busby, Rich graduated from Jewett High School with the Class of 1954. A gifted natural athlete and a dauntless competitor, he excelled at all sports during his high school days and even into adulthood before becoming an ardent student of the game of golf. A faithful member of Central Presbyterian Church in Massillon, Rich was a member of the choir for several years. He retired from The Timken Company in 1990, following thirty-four years of dedicated service. He also spent a number of years following his retirement working as a funeral assistant with Atkinson Feucht Hare Funeral Home. Fondly remembered as a kind and generous gentle man, Rich was a devoted husband, a loving and supportive dad, grandpa and great-grandpa, and a loyal friend. He treasured his family and the time they spent together. He was also deeply involved in Freemasonry with memberships that included Clinton Lodge #47 F&AM, Scottish Rite Valley of Canton, and Tadmor Shrine of Akron. Other memberships included the McKinley F.O.E.
