Peter Todich, Sr. Obituary

Peter Todich, Sr., 63, of Massillon, passed away peacefully, late Friday evening, December 4, 2020.  Born in Massillon, May 19, 1957, a son to the late Nick and Dorothy (Friend) Todich, Sr., Pete graduated from Washington High School with the Class of 1975, where he helped anchor the drumline of the Tiger “Swing” Band.  He served honorably in the US Air Force, earning the rank of sergeant and invested more than 30 years of dedicated service to the US Postal Service before his retirement.  True to his Serbian heritage, Pete was all about family.  His wife Cindi and their children and grandchildren meant the world to him.  True to his heritage as a WHS alumni, most of his social life revolved around Tiger football and under “Friday night lights” was where he always felt at home.

A loving husband and a dedicated and supportive dad and grandpa, Pete set his family at the center of his life.  He was the family Uber driver – making sure everyone got where they needed to be safely and on time – with his own special brand of sarcasm and off-the-wall humor lovingly thrown in at no extra charge!

Predeceased by his parents; an infant son, Peter, Jr., his sister, Dorothy “Cookie” Todich Schultheis and brothers, Nick, Jr. and Raymond Todich; Pete is survived by his wife Cynthia S. (Johnson) Todich, of the home; their daughters, Jenifer, Charity and Janiya, all of Canton and Haillie, of Atwater, California, and sons, Peter (Katie) Todich III, of Massillon and Seth, of the home; and grandchildren, Gino Moretta and Bryce Todich, of Massillon and Tuscan and Graceland Weaver, of Canton.

Dr. Chuck Wilson, pastor of Carrollton Bible Chapel will join with the family for a private service.  Military honors will follow with inurnment at Ohio Western Reserve Military Cemetery.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Atkinson Feucht Hare Funeral Home in Massillon.  Your memories and condolences are always welcome and may be added to our on-line guestbook at, www.atkinsonfeucht.com.
