Patricia L. Haddad, 76, of Perry Township, passed away gently, with her family at her side, Monday afternoon, March 10, 2025. Her unexpected passing followed a brief illness. Born in Barberton, Ohio, May 17, 1948, a daughter to the late Harry G. and Betty J. (Gabbert) Christopher, Patricia graduated from Barberton High School with the Class of 1966.
She retired from Nickles Bakery where she had worked as a baker’s helper throughout most of her married life. At the same time, she was also a full-time homemaker, a devoted wife and a loving and supportive mom, grandma, and great-grandma. She dedicated her life to her husband and family; happily spending her retirement creating new and lasting memories for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren in a home filled with warmth, laughter, stories, great food, and fun that made even simple, “every-days” a special occasion.
Patricia had been a member of Otterbein United Methodist Church in Navarre, and in her leisure time, she enjoyed the outdoors, family camping trips, and gardening.
Predeceased by her mother and dad; Patricia is survived by her husband and best friend, Emmitt R. “Rick” Haddad, of the home, daughter, Carrie Ann (Willard) Musick, of Barberton, and sons, Richard Dickson (and Amanda Hodges), of Orrville, and Jerry Haddad (and Amanda Hoskinson), of Massillon. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Austin, Cody, Cheyenne, Cierra, Kaylee, and Kolin; six great-grandchildren; and her sister, Connie (Murray) Walker, of Navarre.
Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 p.m. Friday, March 14, 2025, at Atkinson Feucht Hare Funeral Home in Massillon. Rev. Carl Orphanides of Otterbein UMC will officiate, and a private burial will follow. The family will greet those attending and receive condolences for one hour prior to the services, from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
Your memories and condolences are always welcome and may be added here to Patricia’s on-line guestbook.
