Pamela Jo McGuire

Pamela Jo McGuire, 58, of Massillon, our beloved sister and aunt, passed away quietly but unexpectedly, on Sunday, July 9, 2023.  Born in Massillon, December 17, 1964, a daughter to the late Walter D. and Phyllis E. (Worrellia) McGuire, Pam graduated from Washington High School with the Class of 1983.  She was currently employed as a professional caregiver with Midwest Health Services, where she found purpose and satisfaction in her work, and real joy in the relationships she made with the people she served.  Outside of work, she chose to live quietly and modestly, enjoying the company of her family and a few close friends.  Dinner and a movie at or away from home was always her perfect way to relax, and she especially looked forward to time spent with her best friend, Ciena.

Preceded in death by her parents; Pam is survived by her sister, Karen (Glenn) Jones, and brothers, Donald, Ronald, Dennis, and David McGuire; nieces and nephews, Emily, Ryan and Katie McGuire, Shelby Jones, Gregory, Thomas, and Adelaide McGuire; and a great-nephew, Matthew Meadows.

Honoring her wishes, cremation has taken place.  Pam’s family and friends will mark her passing with a gathering to be held at a later date.  Atkinson Feucht Hare Funeral Home in Massillon has been entrusted with arrangements.  Your memories and condolences are always welcome and may be added to her on-line guestbook.
