Mary Frances (Kimpean) Davidson

Mary F. Davidson, 83, of Massillon, passed away peacefully while surrounded by her family, Wednesday afternoon, February 3, 2021.  Born in Canton, May 6, 1937, a daughter to the late George and Mary (Cristea) Kimpean, Mary was a graduate of Jackson High School.  She retired from the Canton office of Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Ohio after working there for several years.  A devoted wife and a loving and supportive mom, grandma and great-grandma, Mary was proud of her Romanian heritage.  A woman of quiet, personal faith, she placed her family at the center of her life and in her leisure time, she enjoyed reading, following the Massillon Tigers and the other Ohio sports teams and keeping up with family and friends on Facebook.

Preceded in death by her beloved parents; brother, George “Nick” Kimpean; and her husband, Edward P. “Ed” Davidson; Mary is survived by her sons, Greg (Cindy) and Mark (Kimberly) Strouble; her grandchildren, Amy and Danielle, Zachary, Megan, Ryan and Molly; and great-grandchildren, Hannah, Joe, Mason and Everett.  Many dear cousins and friends also survive.
