Marsha Irene Ramey

Marsha Irene Ramey, 55, formerly of Navarre, more recently of Canton, rose at last to meet her Savior face to face, early Saturday morning, September 16, 2017, following an extended illness.  Born in Orrville, July 11, 1962, a daughter to the late Eugene and Alice (Ramey) Snyder, Marsha was raised by her maternal grandparents, the late Archie and Goldie Ramey.  She had attended Navarre Elementary School prior to her illness and would have graduated with the Fairless High School Class of 1980.  Throughout her life Marsha enjoyed vivid colors and had an eye for fashion.  She loved unconditionally and made many lasting friendships especially at Voca of Ohio/the David Street Home in Canton and at Echoing Ridge in Canal Fulton.
Predeceased by her parents and grandparents; a brother, Ricky; and cousins Sheila and Michael Roy; Marsha is survived by her sister, Robin Snyder and niece, Jade Snyder, both of Florida; aunts Jean Cooperrider, of Wadsworth, Irene Roy and Wilma Ramey, both of Navarre; and her cousins, Vanessa, Debby, Tammy and Laura and several extended cousins and dear friends.  She also leaves behind her beloved pink dog, “Pepto.”
Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 20, 2017, at Atkinson Feucht Hare Funeral Home in Navarre.  Rev. Michael Lanham will officiate and burial will follow in Union Lawn Cemetery.  The family will receive condolences one hour prior to the service, from 2-3:00 p.m. at the funeral home.  Memorial contributions in Marsha’s name may be made in care of the Humane Society of Stark County, 5100 Peach Street, Louisville, Ohio  44641.
