Marie Ann (Dennis) Massie

Marie A. (Dennis) Massie, age 83, of Navarre, went home to be with the Lord, while surrounded by her family, late Tuesday evening, August 16, 2022.  Born March 26, 1939, in Timberville, Virginia, she spent 55 years with the love of her life Damon Massie; retired from MK Morse; and was a member of Canton Baptist Temple. She spent hours watching her hummingbirds on her back deck.           

Marie was preceded by her parents, Louis “Red” and Rowena (Lucas) Dennis; her husband, Damon L. Massie; a son, Steven L. Massie; and four sisters, Faye Turner, Gladys Brown, Julia Worman, and  Margaret Gooden. She was a devoted mother to Ramon M. Massie and Rebecca Whitmer, of Navarre; a precious Grandmother to David L.  (Amy) Massie, of Wadsworth and Travis S. (Nataly) Massie, of Canton.  Her brother, Richard Dennis, of Virginia, and several nieces and nephews also survive.
