Linda Adkins Obituary

Linda McGuire Adkins, 83, passed away peacefully, at home in Navarre, on February 19th, with her daughter Dania Stangelo, granddaughter Tonya Martin, and a host of extended "family" by her side.

Linda was born November 23, 1939, in Seth WV, the daughter of Daniel and Isalene (Eagle) McGuire.  After moving to Dalton and then to Navarre, she worked at her beloved Alice's Restaurant in Navarre for over 20 years where everyone knew her as "Lou."  Linda will be remembered for her kind, generous, loving heart and beautiful smile.  She was a talented artist and can now paint all of her "happy little trees" with Bob Ross.

Preceded in death by her parents; siblings; and her loving husband Daremus ("Dar") Adkins of Navarre; Linda is survived by a sister, Georgie Hubbard of Seth, WV; Dania, Tonya, her grandsons, Daniel Fouts and Andrew Stangelo; seven great-grandchildren and many, very special nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 24th, at Atkinson Feucht Hare Funeral Home in Navarre.  Friends may call beginning at 1:00 p.m. with the funeral to follow at 2:00 p.m.  She will be laid to rest in her "second home," Dalton, at Dalton Cemetery.
