Karen Sue Moore

Karen Sue Moore, 67, of Massillon, passed away peacefully, early Friday morning, January 8, 2021.  Born November 24, 1953, in Belmont County, Ohio, Karen was the daughter of the late Johnnie and Ruth (Byles) Moore.  She worked as an STNA and as a home health aide for several years, developing special, caring relationships with residents at Shady Lawn and Amherst Meadows.

In her personal life, Karen preferred to live simply and quietly with her cat, Gracie.  She enjoyed going out to eat with friends.  Remembered especially for her kind heart, she willingly did for others, whether it was running an errand or making a wellness check to make sure her friends and neighbors – and their pets, were safely up and about and had everything the needed.

As she had requested, Karen will be placed into rest just as she had lived: simply, privately and quietly.  Memorial contributions in her name may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation or you may also honor her memory with a random act of kindness.  Atkinson Feucht Hare Funeral Home in Massillon has been entrusted with arrangements.  Your memories and condolences are always welcome and may be added to our on-line guestbook at www.atkinsonfeucht.com.
