Judith Lyn (Getz) Harris

Judith Lyn Harris, 70, of Massillon, passed away peacefully, with her family at her side, on Wednesday morning, November 14, 2018.  Born in Massillon, June 29, 1948, a daughter to the late Paul and Ginny (Schaar) Getz, Judy graduated from Washington High School with the Class of 1966.  She had managed the former City Loan & Savings Company in Massillon.  A loving and devoted mom, grandma, sister and aunt, Judy placed her family at the center of her life.  In her leisure time she enjoyed golf and jigsaw puzzles and a social membership at the Massillon AMVETS Post 12.

Preceded in death by her parents; Judy is survived by her son, Brent (Paula) Harris, of Massillon; grandchildren, Brian and Alyssa Harris; sister, Rhonda Spicer; nephew, Ryan (Kathleen) Spicer and great-nieces, Abby and Sydney Spicer.

A sincere note of thanks is extended to the staff of DaVita Massillon Community Dialysis, for the care and kindness Judy and her family received during her visits there.

The family will receive condolences and share stories and memories in celebration of Judy’s life on Saturday morning November 17, 2018, from 10:00-12:00 noon at Atkinson Feucht Hare Funeral Home in Massillon.  Burial will follow at Sunset Hills Burial Park.
