Jacqueline A. Tucker, 69, formerly of Perry Township, most recently of Navarre, passed away early Thursday afternoon, December 9, 2021. Born in Perry Township, August 8, 1952, a daughter to the late Herman and Betty (Corbin) Burd, Jackie attended Perry High School and completed her GED at R.G. Drage Career Technical Center. She had recently retired from R.W. Screw Products, Inc., in Massillon, where she had worked in the Quality Assurance and Training Offices.
A devoted wife and a loving and supportive mom, grandma and great-grandma, Jackie placed her home and family at the center of her life. She was an avid outdoorswoman; loved to hunt and fish and ride her Harley with her husband and her son. She rode her trail bike on the towpath nearly every day and enjoyed walking her dogs. She enjoyed bowling for several years and her quieter hobbies included reading and joining her girlfriends to see a new movie.
Preceded in death by her parents; Jackie is survived by her husband, Randy Tucker, of the home; her son, Dustin Shilling; grandson, Dustin Shilling, Jr. (and fiancée, Marie Millar) and great-grandson, Colton Shilling – his great-grandma’s pride and joy, all of Navarre. Also surviving are her brothers, Herman “Butch” (Brenda) Burd and Theodore “Ted” Burd, all of Belllview, Ohio, and Danny (Gary) Burd, of Perry Township.
The family will receive condolences and share memories during an open house on Tuesday evening, December 14, 2021, from 4-6:00 p.m. at Atkinson Feucht Hare Funeral Home in Navarre. A private burial will follow. No formal funeral services are planned. For your safety, those attending the open house are required to wear face masks.
