In his leisure time, Bill enjoyed owning and restoring classic and antique cars, boats, and motorcycles. He loved riding his Harley whether the trip was down to the corner or across the country; and he enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and tending his backyard gardens.

A beloved niece, Yolanda “Poor Girl” Harper, also survives, together with several more nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of dear friends.
