Glenn E. Ford, 59, of Massillon, passed away quietly, early Tuesday morning, June 27, 2023. Born in Saltville, Virginia, December 21, 1963, a son to Claude G. and Anna L. (Hogston) Ford, the family relocated to Akron’s North Hill neighborhood and Glenn graduated from Akron North High School with the Class of 1982.
While his health allowed, Glenn enjoyed hunting and still loved to fish as often as he could. He loved the outdoors and driving trips, and made a hobby of photography. His grandchildren, Jackson and Brooklyn, will forever be the apple of their papaw’s eye. Being with them brought him much joy.
Predeceased by his father, Glenn is survived by his daughter, Hailly R.H. Ford, of Massillon, who shared her home with her dad, and his sons, Lee G. Ford, of Indiana, and Dillynn A. Ford, of Canton. Also surviving are his mother, Mrs. Anna Ford, and his sister, Mrs. Samantha Bailey, of Abingdon, Virginia.
Cremation has taken place in accordance with Glenn’s wishes. No formal services have been scheduled. Atkinson Feucht Hare Funeral Home in Massillon has been entrusted with arrangements. Your memories and condolences are always welcome and may be added to our on-line guestbook at www.atkinsonfeucht.com.
