Gilbert Martinez

Gilbert Martinez, 67, of Massillon, passed away quietly, Saturday evening, August 31, 2024.  Born in Indio, California, July 26, 1957, a son to the late Ernesto and Rosanna Martinez, Gilbert placed his family and extended family at the center of his life.  He supported them in every way he could and was always there to offer a helping hand.  He’ll be remembered by those who loved him and knew him best, for his sense of humor, his free, unfiltered advice, and his unconditional love.

Family and friends will gather informally to share memories and celebrate Gilbert’s life from 2:00 p.m. until 3:30 p.m., Wednesday, September 4, 2024, at Atkinson Feucht Hare Funeral Home in Massillon.  Following the gathering at the funeral home, the celebration will continue beginning at 4:00 p.m. and lasting until 6:30 p.m., at the Oak Knoll Park Pavilion, 618 – 6th Street SW, Massillon, Ohio  44647.
