Franklin D. Kilgore Jr. 60, of Navarre, passed away unexpectedly from natural causes, at home in his sleep, Monday evening, January 8th, 2024. Born in Massillon, October 23rd, 1963, Frank graduated from R.G. Drage Career Center, Class of 1982. He had been employed as a set-up mechanic for Crown Cork and Seal Co. in Massillon. A devoted husband, supportive dad and loving PawPaw, Frank was an avid outdoorsman, hunting, fishing, and trapping. He was a member of the Ohio Gun Collectors Assoc. Stark Gun Collectors, and the Liars Club of Massillon.
Frank is survived by his wife of 31 years, Victoria R. (Clayton) Kilgore of Navarre; daughter, Mandy J. Webb, of Wooster, son Michael "Ray" (Jessica) Webb, of Navarre; and six grandchildren. Also surviving are his siblings Jill (Dave) Collins, of Navarre, Jeff (Karen) Kilgore, of Massillon, Jack (Gloria) Kilgore, also of Navarre and two nephews. Preceded in death by his father, Franklin D. Kilgore Sr., and surviving by five days, his mother, Shirley G. (Nofsinger) Kilgore, of Brewster.
Following cremation, the family will mark Frank’s passing with an informal open house visitation to celebrate his life on Thursday evening, January 25, 2024, from 5-7:00 p.m. at Atkinson Feucht Hare Funeral Home in Massillon. In Lieu of flowers, a memorial donation may be made in Frank’s name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
