Elizabeth Johnson Obituary

Elizabeth Ann “Beth” Johnson, 64, of Wakeman, Ohio, formerly of Massillon, passed away peacefully, at her home, with her husband at her side, late Monday afternoon, July 25, 2022, following a courageous  battle with cancer.  Born in Massillon, April 27, 1958, a daughter to the late Gary and Kathyrn “Katie” (Rink) Wilson, Beth graduated from Washington High School with the Class of 1976.  She was a loving daughter, wife, mother, and grandmother who enjoyed building her life with her husband, spending time with family, and celebrating life.  She gave herself tirelessly to those she knew.  After her son was grown, Beth worked for several home health care companies as an STNA, helping those in need.

Predeceased by her parents; Beth is survived by her husband Mark E. Johnson, of the home; her son and daughter-in-law, Seth A. and Jocelyn Johnson of Aldie, Virginia; and grandchildren, Cooper Theodore Johnson and Madelyn Elizabeth Johnson.  Also surviving are her sister, Karen DelRio, of Massillon, and brothers, Joseph (Cathy) Wilson, of Sarasota, Florida, Timothy (Sherri) Wilson, of Massillon, and Jack (Yuen) Wilson, of Keihi, Hawaii; nieces, Kayla Wilson and Carrie (James) Calvert; and nephews, Johnathon DelRio, Drew Wilson, and Clinton Britton.

Beth was deeply loved and will be missed by the many who knew her.

There are no calling hours.  The family will mark Beth’s passing with a private funeral ceremony and burial.  They have also suggested memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Atkinson Feucht Hare Funeral Home in Massillon.  Your memories and condolences are always welcome and may be added to our on-line guestbook at www.atkinsonfeucht.com.
