Dorothy R. Bigler, of Massillon, formerly of Richville, passed away Friday, November 15, 2024, at the age of 102. Born in Bolivar, Ohio, January 15, 1922, a daughter to the late William and Laura (Studer) Goodman, Dorothy was retired from Perry Local Schools and was a member of Fohl Memorial United Methodist Church – now Living Grace Christian Church in Navarre.
Predeceased by her parents, her husband, Ollen Bigler, and her brother, Earl Goodman; Dorothy is survived by her daughters, Jane (Ken) Vanderground, of Macedonia, Ohio, and Susan (Tim) Bednar, of Massillon; her grandchildren, Brian (Rachel) Vanderground, Laura (Rick) Marzen, Kate (Dave) Weber, and Jeffrey (Brenda) Bednar; and her great-grandchildren, Grace, Luke, Benjamin, Joshua, Caleb, Jonathan, Charles, Avery, Aiden, Theodore, and Austin. Also surviving are her brother, Dean (Connie) Goodman, of Navarre, and many nieces and nephews.
All services will be private.
The family has suggested memorial contributions to Living Grace Christian Church, 121 Basin Street, Navarre, Ohio 44662.
