Doris June (Imer) Wise Hudson

Doris June Wise Hudson, 87, of Navarre, passed away peacefully, in the comfort of her home, with her daughter at her side, early Saturday morning, October 11, 2025.  Born in Martins Ferry, Ohio, March 26, 1938, a daughter to the late Ralph and Virginia Imer, Doris was a homemaker; a devoted wife, and a loving and supportive mom, grandma and great-grandma.  A woman of simplicity and grace,  she attended the Cathedral of Life Church and placed her faith and family at the center of her life.  In her leisure time she found peace and relaxation in flowers and gardening.

Predeceased by her parents; her husbands, Robert T. Wise, Sr. and Joseph W. Hudson; son, Robert T. Wise, Jr., and her sisters, Dorothy and Rose; Doris is survived by her daughter, Darla D. Wise (and Mike Duke), of Navarre, and grandchildren, Amanda (Chris) Hollins, of Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina, James A. (Jessica) Waller, Jr., of Canton, Megan Wise and Alex Wise.  Seven great-grandchildren; her brother, Sonny (Darleen) Imer, of Port Washington, Ohio, and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Family and friends will gather to mark Doris’s passing with a graveside service at 1:00 Friday afternoon, October 17, 2025, at East Union Lawn Cemetery in Navarre.  Pastor Deana Gammill Reed will officiate.
