Donna D. (Evans) Ristev

Donna D. Ristev, our beloved mother and grandmother, passed away unexpectedly, while at home, early Friday morning, March 29, 2024.  Born in Podmochani, Macedonia, August 20, 1931, a daughter to the late James and Para Evans, Donna had been an area resident since 1962.

A devoted wife and a loving and supportive mother and grandmother, Donna had been a homemaker.  With great love and care, she created and kept a warm and welcoming place for her husband and generations of family.  She attended St. Nikola Macedonian Orthodox Church and served God by serving others.  She cherished her faith, her Macedonian heritage, its traditions, and a lifetime of memories, and passed them on to her children and grandchildren.  May her memory be eternal.

Predeceased by her parents; her husband, Kire Ristev; and her sister, Cara Fotevska; Donna is survived by her children, Daniel K. Ristev, of New Albany, Ohio, Christine (Joe) Murgida, of Massillon, and Carol (George) Kondev, of North Canton.  Four dear grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services will be Saturday, April 6, 2024, beginning with visitation from 10-11:00 a.m., followed at 11:00 a.m. by the service conducted by the Very Reverend Zoran Zdravev, all in St. Nikola Macedonian Orthodox Church, 5305 Massillon Road, NW., North Canton, Ohio 44720.  Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Massillon.
