Donald R. Hollinger, 87, of Navarre, passed away peacefully on Sunday morning, February 28, 2021. Born in Navarre, October 8, 1933, a son to the late Leo and Mildred (Feucht) Hollinger, Don attended Navarre High School and served honorably in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. He worked as a metal fabricator for Ohio Drilling Company, retiring after 42 years of loyal and dedicated service. A loving husband and a devoted and supportive dad and grandpa, Don placed his wife and family at the center of his life. An avid outdoorsman, Don loved camping, hunting and fishing – especially in Canada, with his family and friends. Closer to home he also enjoyed gardening.
Predeceased by his parents; his dear wife of 49 years, Betty L. (Timney) Hollinger and his brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Owenah Hollinger; Don is survived by his son, Donald L.
