Deborah Darlene (Lewis) Lux

Deborah D. Lux, 68, of Canton, passed away peacefully, Monday afternoon, January 10, 2022.  Born February 22, 1953, in Greensboro, North Carolina, a daughter to the late Raymond L. and Betty J. (Ratliff) Lewis, Deb had been an area resident for most of her adult life.  She worked several different jobs over the years, in retailing and in the service industry, doing all she could to support her family.  Immediately preceding her retirement, she worked for the Massillon Museum.  A beloved mom and grandma, when she wasn’t working, she enjoyed the peace and quiet of her home and the company of her family and close friends.  In her retirement, she spent hours scheming up new ways to entertain and spoil her grandchildren.  As a final act of kindness, Deb was a Lifebanc donor.

Preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Joyce Lewis Trivett; Deb is survived by her children, Lesia Eller, of Mount Vernon, Ohio, Kenneth C. Shelton, and Samantha J. Shelton, both of Massillon; her grandchildren - each whom she adored; and her sister, Janet Lewis Dodson, of Julian, North Carolina.
