Cynthia A. Guleff, 73, formerly of Massillon, most recently of Memphis, Tennessee, passed away Monday evening, October 4, 2021, following a period of declining health. Born in Memphis, December 7, 1947, a daughter to the late James H. and Sarah (Lankford) Nichols, Cynthia worked for a time as an LPN. After leaving nursing she held several different jobs and while living in Massillon, worked as a cashier at the Massillon Marc’s in the Amherst Shopping Center. A loving mom and grandma and a caring sister, Cynthia lived simply and enjoyed her privacy. She also enjoyed reading and liked to work on crossword puzzles.
Predeceased by her parents; and husband, Allen Guleff; Cynthia is survived by her son, Jason Gatlin, his wife, Traci and their children, Alina and Aven Gatlin, of Cordova, Tennessee; and her brothers, Bill Nichols, of Memphis and David Nichols, of North Carolina.
She will be laid to rest privately at Sunset Hills Burial Park in Canton. Local services will be announced at a later date.
