Carole Lucille Angerman

Carole L. Angerman, 82, of Massillon, passed away Thursday afternoon, February 9, 2023.  Born June 20, 1940, in Wooster, the daughter and only child of the late Dr. Walter H. and Ethel L. (Keller) Angerman, Carole graduated from Massillon Washington High School with the Class of 1959.  Carole chose to remain in the city in which she had grown up, and so had been a Massillon resident for most of her life.  She lived a modest and decidedly private lifestyle that appealed to her and her dogs and cats, whose company she so enjoyed through the years.

A member of St. John’s United Church of Christ in Massillon, Carole had been employed as a librarian with the Stark County District Library for nearly all her professional life.  She was an avid reader, and in her leisure time, enjoyed bus trips and day tours to new and favorite locales.

Carole is survived by several cousins and friends who will mark her passing with a chapel service at 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 17, 2023, in the mausoleum chapel at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens in Massillon.  Rev. David Zerby of St. John’s UCC will officiate.  Those attending will gather in the chapel beginning at 10:30 Friday morning.
