Obituary
Carol Maye (Buck) Hilbert, 81, of Navarre, passed away on Friday, May 26, 2023. Born in Hickman, Kentucky on February 22, 1942, to the late George and Jeanette (Tibbs) Buck, Carol was a graduate of Navarre High School, Class of 1960. She was employed by the Village Bookshelf in Massillon for 40 years, where she enjoyed meeting people and encouraging their love of reading.
Carol was a beloved wife, mother, sister, and Nana who was deeply loved and will be missed greatly.
Preceded in death by her husband Tom Hilbert, her brother Jerry Buck, and daughter-in-law Tracy (Remark) Hilbert; she is survived by her sons Ty Hilbert and Dan Hilbert; her sister Judith (Buck) Hanley; her daughter in law Melinda Hilbert; stepchildren Kim (Hilbert) Haas (Bob Haas), and Scott Hilbert; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
The family will receive friends and family on Monday, June 5, 2023, from 4-6 PM at Atkinson-Feucht Hare Funeral Home at 26 2nd St. NE, Massillon, OH 44646.
