Carmen M. Brady, 48, of Massillon, passed away peacefully but quite unexpectedly, Friday evening, July 14, 2023, following an extended period of declining health. Born in Massillon, May 16, 1975, a daughter to Peter V. Brown and Chantelle M. (Bradley) Blake, Carmen graduated from Fairless High School and the R.G. Drage Career Technical Center with the Class of 1993 and completed a bookkeeping certificate course at Stark Technical College. She had worked for eighteen years as an Accounts Receivable clerk for United Food and Commercial Workers Canton Local 17A.
A woman of quiet faith, she was a Christian and knew the Lord as her personal Savior. A devoted wife and a loving mother, daughter and sister, Carmen placed her husband and her children at the center of her life. Family meant everything to her. In her leisure time she enjoyed cross stitch projects, word search puzzles, and was a fan of Jimmy Fallon. She liked modern country-rock music and dutifully followed the fortunes of the Massillon Tigers and the Pittsburgh Steelers, season after season.
Carmen is survived by her husband, Paul J. Brady, of the home, their daughter, Isabelle and their son Cole; her mother, Chantelle Blake, and father, Pete Brown; brother, Christopher (Erica) Brown, and nephew, Lorenzo Brown, all of Pittsburgh; mother- and father-in-law, Paula and Russ Milbrodt, Jr., of Perry Twp., and sisters-in-law, Laura Brady, of Canton and Michelle Vogt, of Canal Fulton.
The family will receive condolences Wednesday evening, July 19, from 6-8:00 p.m. at Atkinson Feucht Hare Funeral Home in Massillon. A prayer service will close the evening at 8:00 p.m. Memorial contributions in Carmen’s name may be made to the donor’s charity of choice. Your memories and condolences are always welcome and may be added to her on-line guestbook.
