Beverly J. Lewis, 93, of Canton, our beloved mom, grandma, and great-grandma, passed away quietly, Tuesday morning, January 2, 2024. Born in Massillon September 28, 1930, a daughter to the late Harry and Dorothy Meanor) Grafton, Beverly graduated from Washington High School with the Class of 1948. She had been a homemaker and a full-time wife and mom who placed her husband and family at the center of her life. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren held a special place in her heart from the moment they were born, and she loved each of them to the fullest. She created a safe and happy home full of laughter and wonderful memories, working to ensure that every birthday and holiday was a truly special occasion. In her leisure time Beverly was a very avid bowler. She loved dancing and travel and enjoyed playing BINGO!
Predeceased by her parents; her husband, Phil Lewis; a daughter, Sheryl Lewis Soliday; and her sister, Phyllis Grafton Boyd; Beverly is survived by her children, Debra (Marc) Wiseman, of Canton, Beverly (Rodney) Harrold, of North Canton, and Richard (Traudy) Lewis, of Wilmington, North Carolina. Also surviving are eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; son-in-law, Rich Soliday; and many dear friends.
