Adam Blaine Hindley

Adam Blaine Hindley, 58, of Navarre, passed away peacefully, Friday afternoon, August 15, 2025, with his family at his side.  Born in Massillon, February 24, 1967, a son to the late Blaine W. and Sally Ann (Miller) Hindley, Adam graduated from Massillon Washington High School with the Class of 1985.  He worked at several different jobs – with the USPS as a mail carrier,  and alongside his dad as a self-taught mechanic and machinist.  Whether it was his or someone else’s, working on a car with  a wrench in his hand, washing parts, in grease and oil up to his elbows, skinned knuckles and all, was where he found his happy place.  Even as his health declined, he was always a willing helper with a friendly, outgoing personality.  He made friends easily and could make conversation with just about anybody on any of several topics.  Ask him about his grandchildren and he’d light right up and tell you everything there was to tell.  They were and remain his true pride and joy!

A man of quiet, personal faith, he was a loving and supportive dad to his daughter and son.  And in his leisure time, he enjoyed gardening – especially tending some favorite roses, and he also liked to draw and paint.

Predeceased by his mom and dad, Adam is survived by his daughter, Elisa Hindley (and Shawn Hanson), and son, Jesse Hindley (and Janet Prettchet); his grandchildren, Connor and Signe; and brothers, Matthew and Marc (Linda) Hindley, all of the Navarre area.

In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place.  The family will host a graveside service at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens at 2:30 p.m. Friday, September 19, 2025.  Atkinson Feucht Hare Funeral Home in Massillon has been entrusted with the immediate arrangements.  Your memories and condolences may be added here to Adam’s on-line guestbook.
