Red Truax Obituary

Homer “Red” Truax, age 76, of Navarre passed away Sunday at Aultman Compassionate Care. Born December 6, 1940 in Canton, Ohio he was a retired mechanic welder with the State of Ohio. Red is survived by his wife, Frances A. (Reo) Truax; daughters, Theresa (Tim) Dorkoff and Michelle Truax (Jeff); son, Robert (Valerie) Truax; a sister, Kay Frances Conner; 9 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; best friend Buddy; and many nieces and nephews. His parents, Harold and Janice (Gonser) Truax and brother Ronald Truax predeceased him. Visitation will be held Wednesday 5-7 p.m. at Atkinson Feucht Hare Funeral Home in MASSILLON. Cremation will follow and private burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Massillon.
