Marjorie Darlene Forshaw Hill, 90, of Massillon, passed away peacefully early Saturday morning, March 31, 2018. She had been a resident of Altercare of Navarre since July 2017. Born May 22, 1927, in Akron, Ohio, a daughter to the late Edward and Elise M. (Hunter) Forshaw, Marjorie had a passion for people and lived her life caring for others. A faithful member of First Baptist Church, she loved her church and her church family. She was involved in the “Grannies” group, Ruth Circle, Ladies Bible Study and other church activities.
Preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Hollie Harley Hill, who died in 2001; Marjorie is survived by her six children, Richard Hill, Carol (David) Gardner and Janet (Mike) McGovern, all of Arizona, Kathleen (Bill) Emig and Margie (Les) Blickenderfer, of Massillon and David (Gloria) Hill, of Galloway; 13 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Her family brought her great joy and she will surely be missed by those who knew her.
A “Going Home” celebration was held this past Monday, April 2, 2018, at First Baptist Church of Massillon.
