Margaret E. Burwell

Margaret E. Burwell, 76, of Jackson Township, passed away peacefully on Saturday evening, April 22, 2017, following a period of declining health.  Born March 6, 1941, in Long Beach, California, a daughter to the late John and Eris (Richardson) Burwell-Hill, Margaret was raised in Massillon by her mother and step-father, the late George Hill and graduated from Jackson High School with the Class of 1959.  She had been employed by the former Ansell-Perry Rubber Co. until her retirement.  She lived modestly and enjoyed her privacy and her independence.  In her leisure time she loved to travel and enjoyed dancing.
Predeceased by her parents and step-father; Margaret is survived by her sister, Sandra L. “Sandy” Jones, of Jackson Twp.; her niece, Kim Jones, of Canton; nephews, Corey (Susan), Scott (Diane) and Todd Jones, all of Jackson Twp.; three great-nieces; three great-nephews and her special friend and caregiver, Valerie Bryant.
