Loraine L. Hacker, 83, of Navarre, passed away Friday evening, April 13, 2018, following a period of declining health. Born in Clarksburg, West Virginia, August 31, 1934, Loraine had lived in the Massillon-Navarre area for most of her adult life. She was a homemaker who loved her children, her grandchildren and her great-granddaughter and walked humbly with the Lord. She liked working crossword puzzles in her leisure time but always put family first.
Predeceased by her mother, Gladys Snell; her husband, Fred Hacker, Sr., infant son, Fred Hacker, Jr.; a brother and four sisters; Loraine is survived by her son, Roy (Donyale) Hacker, of Navarre and daughter, Sara (Chris) Alton, of Canton; her grandchildren, Tyler Harvey, of Bolivar, Jasmine and Devin Hacker, of Navarre, Logan (Cheyanne) Hacker, of Massillon, Morgan Hacker, of Canton and Xander and Xavier Alton, also of Canton; great-granddaughter, Aleecya Hacker; sister, Joellen Garrett, of the area, and a sister, Frances, of Weston, West Virginia. There is also an extended family that includes a host of children and grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Private services followed by burial at Oakwood Cemetery in Massillon will take place on Thursday, April 19, 2018. Atkinson Feucht Hare Funeral Home in Massillon has been entrusted with arrangements.
