Linda Lou (Lehman) McCright

Linda L. (Lehman) McCright, 74, formerly of the Dalton-Massillon area, following a full life, passed away December 24, 2017, in Sugar Land, Texas.  Born in Massillon, March 31, 1943, a daughter to the late David A. and Jennie (Kurzen) Lehman, Sr., Linda graduated from Washington High School with the Class of 1961 and was a member of Stanwood Community Church.  She had attended Bliss Business College in Columbus and then moved to Texas in 1967 where she had resided until her death.  She married Herbert McCright in 1983, and together they raised their step-granddaughter Kristen McCright.  
Predeceased by her parents, and a nephew, Rex D. Lehman; Linda is survived by her husband of 34 years, Herbert McCright, of Meadows Place, Texas; step-daughter, Karen McCright and step-grandson, Christopher Gawlik; step-granddaughter, Kristen McCright; and step-great-grandchildren, Alissa Weatherford, Jaden Weatherford and Dylan Gawlik, all of Texas.  She is survived here in Ohio by her brothers, David A. (Carin) Lehman, Jr., of Dalton and Rex L. Lehman (and Jean Hankison), of Yellow Springs; niece, Aubrey (Dan) Hilton and nephew, Roc T. Lehman, of Dalton; grandnephews, Noah and Lucas Hilton and many beloved cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 6, 2018, at Stanwood Community Church.  Pastor Matthew Ellington will officiate and burial will follow in Stanwood Cemetery.  Visitation will take place in the church on Saturday, one hour before the service, from 10-11:00 a.m.
