Gary F. King, 60, of Massillon, passed away unexpectedly on Friday evening, November 10, 2017, while attending the Massillon-Ashland football game. Born in Massillon, April 7, 1957, a son to the late Herbert and Mildred M. (Ford) King, Gary graduated from Washington High School with the Class of 1976. He played football for Coach Bob Cummings while at the high school and remained a devoted Tiger fan his entire life. Possessing a strong and conscientious work ethic, he invested more than 30 years of faithful service to Republic Steel Corporation where he had most recently worked as a crane operator. He enjoyed following the Indians, Browns, Cavs and the Buckeyes. He also enjoyed tennis, traveling and loved to fish. Preceded in death by his parents; Gary is survived by his daughters, Miranda (Eric) Woods, Megan King and Rachel (Mitchell) Robinson and their families, all of Massillon; his daughter, McKenzie King and son, Wyatt King, step-daughter, Micaela Yoder and their mother, Gary’s former wife, Alyson Yoder, also of Massillon; and his brothers, Richard (Carol) King and Ronnie (Sally) King, all of Massillon and Terry (Edith) King, of Florida.
Services have been entrusted to Atkinson Feucht Hare Funeral Home in Massillon. They are pending at this time.
