David F. “Mac” McEndree, 86, of Navarre, passed away peacefully, August 14, 2018, surrounded by family. He was born July 10, 1932, to Edgar and Dorothy (Kemp) McEndree. After graduating high school, David enlisted in the US Navy where he served 4 years during the Korean Conflict. David put in 42 years working for Ohio Bell where he rarely missed a day of work. He served 45 years as a volunteer firefighter for the Bethlehem Township Fire Department and was also a very active and long-standing member of the Sugarcreek Twp. Coon Club.
David was a veggie growing, crab eating, squirrel hunting, fish catching, deer watching, porch sitting type of guy. Those who loved and knew him best will remember his amazing cooking, his kindness, his fierce loyalty and his immense love for the outdoors.
David is survived by the love of his life, Carol, with whom he enjoyed 63 years of marriage; his 3 “V”s, daughters, Victoria (Paul) Netling, Valarie (Ron) Feucht, Vanessa (Eric) Shriver; grandchildren, Patrick (Katt) Netling, Molly Ferguson, Tabatha (Dan) Briggs, Merideth (Nate) Blackwood, Andrew (Liz) Feucht, Cody Feucht and Riley and Caden Shriver; seven great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, his beloved dog, Hines; two amazing neighbors, James and Debbie Gray and extended family that included his morning coffee gang at McDonalds. David was a loving father, husband, grandfather and friend to all. You will be missed. “Love you, Babe!

A celebration of life will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please do a kind deed for someone in David’s memory. Arrangements have been entrusted to Atkinson Feucht Hare Funeral Home in Navarre.
