Tamara Lynn "Tami" Hickey

Tamara Lynn “Tami” Hickey, 62, of Canton, passed away peacefully, in the comfort of her home, Monday afternoon, February 26, 2024. Born in Massillon, on July 4, 1962, a daughter to the late Jason and Delores (Guillan) Hickey, Tami graduated from both Perry High School and Massillon Beauty College with the Class of 1979. She had been a licensed beautician, as well as having worked at several different local companies including Kraft-Heinz here in Massillon, and Incept, and Ameridial in the Belden Village area.

A loving mom and grandma, Tami was an undeniably hard worker. Despite her health issues, she battled through them to provide for her family, and often placed the needs of others ahead of her own.  Remembered for her winning smile and joyful laugh, Tami loved the summer months and the chance to tend her flowers. She loved cooking, the outdoors, her dogs, her horses, the Fourth of July, movies, and talking on the phone with loved ones. But most of all, her heart was with her family.

Predeceased by her parents, and a precious grandson, Zayne Paulik; Tami is survived by her son, Quentin J. Paulik and Brianna Grillon; granddaughter, Zara Q. Paulik; and her sister, Lorrie (Michael) Goodnight, all of Massillon; and her partner, Shawn Arline, of Canton.  Also surviving is her step-mother, Mrs. Diane Hickey, also of Massillon.

Honoring Tami’s wishes, cremation has taken place and the family is planning services for a later date.
