Jacqueline M. Robinson, 74, of Massillon, passed away gently, late Tuesday morning, February 20, 2024. Born in Cleveland, February 13, 1950, a daughter to the late John and Oneida (Mitchell) Clemmons, Jackie had worked for several years as a home healthcare aide. She was also very much a full-time wife and mom. A Christian woman of quiet faith, Jackie placed her family at the center of her life. Even as a single parent, she created and kept a safe and happy home for her children and grandchildren – each of them receiving her special care and attention, not only on birthdays and Christmas, but every day. A phone call or a visit was never an inconvenience. She was a fabulous cook, so there was usually plenty - with some extra to take home afterward, and if you left hungry, it was your own fault! Strong and lasting memories are part of the legacy she leaves to those who knew and loved her.
Predeceased by her parents; her husband, Donald D. Robinson, Sr.; and a brother, Antonio Clemmons; Jackie is survived by her children, Deredra Robinson, of Massillon, Deanna Spencer, and Dyan Robinson, both of Canton, and Donald Robinson, Jr., also of Massillon. Also surviving are her three dear grandchildren; six precious great-grandchildren; sisters, Daneen Mitchell, and Adriene (Carlos) Morris, of Canton, brother, Ronald (Kim) Strauguter, of Cleveland, an extended family and many wonderful friends.
In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place and no formal services are planned. Atkinson Feucht Hare Funeral Home in Massillon has been entrusted with the immediate arrangements. Your memories and condolences are always welcome and may be added here to Jackie’s on-line guestbook.
