Harold Lee Diehl

Harold L. Diehl, 86, of Navarre, passed peacefully away on Wednesday, April 10, 2024.  Born April 24, 1937, to Florence and Homer Diehl, he graduated from Navarre High School in 1955.  Harold worked at the former Tyson Bearing Corp. in Massillon prior to enlisting in the US Army in May of 1963.  After completing his term of service in September of 1965, he returned to Tyson and worked until his retirement.

He had a lifetime love of cars and rebuilt several over the years.  He enjoyed a simple, fairly private lifestyle, and maintained his home and yard by himself, even at the age of 86.

Preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Betty Diehl Smith, and brothers, William and Karl Diehl, Harold is survived by his niece, Sandy (Charlie) Staudt, of Galloway, Ohio, and nephews, Randall (Claudia) Smith, of Crosby, Texas, Stephen (Mary Ann) Smith, of Canton, and Kenneth (Michelle) Diehl and Thomas (Ana) Diehl, all of Navarre.

Funeral services will be conducted at the noon hour on Tuesday, April 16, 2024, at Atkinson Feucht Hare Funeral Home in Navarre.  The family will receive condolences one hour prior to the service, from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. in the funeral home.  Burial will follow at East Union Lawn Cemetery in Navarre.  Your memories and condolences are always welcome and can be added here to Harold’s on-line guestbook.
