Funeral Director/Embalmer

Ed is a licensed funeral director/embalmer and has been with the firm since 1971. He holds a B.S. Degree in Education from Eastern Kentucky University and a Mortuary Science Degree from Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science. Ed attends Fohl Memorial United Methodist Church in Navarre and hosts a bi-monthly bible study at the Massillon funeral home. His community involvement over the years has been extensive. His passion has been with the Massillon Heritage Foundation and preservation of Five Oaks, home of the Massillon Woman’s Club. Ed enjoys spending time with his wife, Nancy; daughter, Jennifer; son, Chip; five grandsons; and his grand-golden, Haley. He humbly states, “It has been a wonderful blessing working at AFS for 40 years and I truly enjoy assisting people at the most difficult time of their life. I look forward to serving the needs of the community for many years to come.”

Eric is a licensed funeral director/embalmer and has been with the funeral home since 2007. He has worked in the funeral service field since 2000 and is a graduate of Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science. Eric served in the U.S Army for three years and was honorable discharged in 2000. He is a member of the True Hope Community Fellowship Church, Massillon Lions Club, Massillon Tiger Football Booster Club, Massillon Orangeman and a board member of the YMCA of Western Stark County. “It is an honor to be able to come to Massillon and provide a great service to those in need in the community that I truly enjoy being part of. I look forward to earning the trust and faith of everyone in the community.”

Mike has been at Atkinson Feucht Hare Funeral Home since 2004 and serves as a funeral assistant. Mike is a graduate of Central Catholic high school and Stark Technical College. He and his family are members of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Massillon and has served as a Eucharistic Minster and on the parent advisory committee for the Parish CCD Program. Mike enjoys reading and researching and building model cars and aircraft. “It is my privilege to be part of this dedicated and professional team and to serve-if only in a small way, the families who have placed their faith and trust in us.” He lives in Massillon with his wife and daughter.
